Happy Valley Song Lab Our Story
The Happy Valley Song Lab was born in September 2020, during one of the most challenging times for artists and creators. Our fearless co-founders, Angel and Jason, had lost everything in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. With little more than their dreams, a mini-van, and a drive to find hope, they spent a month chasing sunsets across the United States. In the face of uncertainty, they turned inward, asking themselves what they could create right here, right now.
From that moment of reflection came the Happy Valley Song Lab. What began as a modest home studio has since grown into a vibrant space for collaboration, creativity, and community. Today, we’re proud to serve as a hub for artists, an accredited internship site for Penn State, and—most importantly—a safe haven for musical expression.
At the Happy Valley Song Lab, we help musicians at every stage of their journey. From writing lyrics and recording tracks to producing music and creating visual assets for releases, our small but dedicated team is here to support your vision.
